For the Trumpet shall sound - A Song by Sally Albrecht

    Information:

    This song is fairly quick and mostly loud except in the section on page 8
    It then gradually get louder and louder until it is loud at the bottom of page 9. It continues to get louder on pages 10 and 11 until it is very loud at the end. Unfortunately we do not have a trumpet to accompany us.

    Section 1 beginning till the top of page 4. The Ladies sing short phrases first followed by the men.They sing in 4 part harmony at the bottom of page 3 and top of page 4.

    Section 2 is quicker from the end of line 1 on page 4 to the end of page 7. In this section the ladies sing a phrase followed by the men. This continues yntil the end of line 1 on page 7. We then sing in 4 part harmony and gradually get louder.

    Section 3 starts on page 8 fairly quietly in 4 part chorts followed a short phrase in canon (one voice followed by the next and so on . Then we have block chord with all voices getting louder until the bottom of page 9.

    Section 4 starts on the last beat of page 9 to the end. It begins with alternating phrases. We then sing block chord in 4 part harmony to the end. The music gradually gets louder throughout page 11 till we slow doen and get louder to very loud at the end.
