Tumbalalaika - A Yiddish Song arranged by DeCormier

    Information:

    This song is medium speed and not too loud except in certain sections.
    It is divided into 4 main parts for each voice.

    Section A & B till C on page 5. Section A is the Chorus sung by the choir SATB. It is fairly loud. In Section B the ladies the verse in English while the men sing oo for the first then the words in harmony. The men the sing the words in English the ladies then sing the melody whilst the men oo a harmony.

    Section C & D till E on page 8. Section C is the chorus in harmony . Section D begins with the tenors singing the verse and after 4 bars the ladies Ah a harmony. The bass do not sing in section D.

    Section E & F. Section E is the chorus sung in harmony by the 4 voices. Section F is the verse with the ladies singing the English words while the men Oo a harmony and after 6 bars they sing the words in harmony to the end of the verse.

    Section G to the end. We sing the chorus loud and in harmony. After 6 bars of page 12, the singing stops and there is a short interlude on the piano. The last 6 bars are sung in harmony starting very quiet and gradually getting slower.
