Programme for 2019

Meetings take place on the third Thursday of each month ( except August and December) at 7.30 pm in the Heritage Centre (The Old Gaol), Bellbrook.

January 17th - "The Shropshire, Staffordshire and Cheshire Blood Bikes" (Brian Smith, Rider for the Charity)

February 21st - "A Mystery at the Vicarage" (The story of the Rev. Charles Wilbraham, Vicar of Penkridge (1874-1879)) (Robert Maddox - Local Historian)

March 21st - "New Challenges for Farming" - (Bill Madders, whose family farm at Coppenhall)

April 18th - "The Great Pilgrimage 90" - (George Elsmore & Geoff Yallop, Royal British Legion)

May 16th - "The Peels of Drayton Manor" - (Nigel Morris, a Trustee and former Chairman of the Peel Society)

June 20th - "Outing to Woodleighton NGS Garden" - (National Gardens Scheme)

July 18th -"Social Event at the Old Goal" - (members and partners only) at the Old Gaol

August 15th - "Outing" - (to be arranged)

September 19th - "CPRE Staffordshire" - Campaign to Protect Rural England (Susan Kneill-Boxley - Publicity Officer)

October 17th - "Cruising Russia's Waterways fromMoscow to St. Petersburg" - (Ruth Goodison & Amanda Parkyn, Civic Society Members)

November 21st - Annual General Meeting.
